GC Serial Marine Gearbox

Advance GC series of marine gearboxes is categorized into four product lines based on their input/output configurations: the GCS/GCST/GCSE series, GCH/GCHT/GCHE series, GCD series, and GCC series. When integrated with a prime mover and a controllable-pitch propeller (CPP), they form a ship’s main propulsion system, which is widely used in vessels such as bulk carriers, oil tankers, and container ships. Control options include pneumatic or electronic systems.

Key technical features:
1. Capable of clutching, speed reduction, and absorbing propeller thrust.
2. Modular design, with support for features such as Power Take-Off (PTO) and Power Take-In (PTI).
3. Available in various structural configurations to accommodate different engine room layouts.
4. Equipped with a mature and reliable hydraulic control system, designed to meet specific operating conditions and the control requirements of multiple clutches.
5. Supports both mechanical and automated control, enabling both local emergency operation and remote control of the gearbox.
6. Non-standard (custom) designs are available to meet specific user requirements.
7. A CPP oil distribution unit (distributor) can be installed at the output end of the gearbox if required.
